The legendary pianist and pedagogue Vadim Monastyrski joins the course as a special guest. He is internationally renowned for his appearances on major concert stages such as the Sydney Opera House, the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and the Alte Oper Frankfurt, as well as for his pedagogical work at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and the St. Petersburg Conservatory.The cello classes will be led by Ștefan Cazacu, one of the most distinguished cellists of his generation, who has developed a remarkable international career both as a soloist and chamber musician and is Professor at the National University of Music Bucharest.The improvisation classes will be taught by the pianist and composer André Parfenov, lecturer at the Leipzig University of Music and Theatre “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.”The chamber music classes will be led by the violinist Iuliana Münch, the initiator of the project.

The legendary Russian-Israeli pianist and virtuoso Vadim Monastyrski (1945) joins the course as Special Guest. For decades he has been one of the defining figures of the international piano world.Among his teachers was one of the most important piano pedagogues of the twentieth century and a central figure of the renowned Russian piano school:
Heinrich Neuhaus.Vadim Monastyrski is also widely respected for his outstanding pedagogical work, which has taken him, among other places, to the Jerusalem Academy of Music and the renowned St. Petersburg State Conservatory.

The pianist and composer André Parfenov has built an impressive international career. He received his training at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.His artistic activity includes appearances as a soloist and chamber musician – among others in the Parfenov Duo – as well as the creation of his own compositions.A versatile musical personality, André Parfenov also serves as a lecturer at the Leipzig University of Music and Theatre “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.” Within the framework of the course, he will lead working sessions devoted to improvisation, accompaniment and stylistic interpretation.
Violine and chamber music
The violinist Iuliana Münch, who regularly appears on international concert stages, is co-founder of the Parfenov Duo and initiator of the International Artists’ House Bușteni.With a profound pedagogical vision and a genuine commitment to supporting young musicians, she developed the mentoring concept of this course, combining artistic excellence with personal guidance.Within the framework of the course, she will teach the violin students and, together with André Parfenov, guide the chamber music working process.

The cellist Ștefan Cazacu, a musician of remarkable artistic refinement, is acclaimed on prestigious concert stages throughout Europe, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician.With his distinctive stage presence and a remarkable expressive depth, he combines an active concert career with his pedagogical work as Professor at the National University of Music Bucharest.Within the framework of the course, he will work intensively with the young cellists, guiding them in the development of their technical mastery and musical expression.
